Philippians 1:3  I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

As I was thinking about this last article to you as the Pastor of Zion, Atlantic, I was sorting and ran across graduation cards from one of my children’s graduation from High School. So many of the cards were from you members of Zion. It was a poignant reminder of being part of the Zion family these past 14 years. Thank you for welcoming me and my family into your church family. Thank you especially to all our volunteers who have shared in our ministry together. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement and support. This area will always be my HOME area, wherever I live. It was true before you called me to serve as your Pastor 14 years ago and is doubly true now. I will miss regularly seeing you. You will continue to be my friends in Christ Jesus.

If you are ever on I-65 between Indianapolis and Louisville, KY, please look me up. For the time being I will keep the same cell phone and email. The address of Emanuel, Dudleytown, seems to be the same for the parsonage that sits behind it: 2174 S. County Road 750 E, Seymour IN 47274-9227. Also, the phone rings at both the church and parsonage (812) 523-8234.

My prayers will be for you all during the upcoming vacancy. I’ll be praying that God sends you even a better Pastor than I am.

Entrusting you all to our Lord Jesus’ care,
